Sexual Violence & Abuse Subgroup
The Sexual Violence & Abuse Subgroup is a new subgroup that the Partnership aims to pilot for 12 months until January 2027.
It brings together statutory, community and voluntary groups, individuals and organisations in the South Eastern area who want to improve the services and support to all victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence and abuse.
They aim to offer relevant training and awareness-raising to professionals and community groups. To do this, the group looks at new and emerging issues related to domestic & sexual violence and abuse and identifies training needs, looking for ways to increase knowledge and understanding. Where necessary, the group supports joint training events and contributes to appropriate training resources.
Training & awareness-raising topics include:
- Domestic Abuse
- Technology Facilitated Domestic Abuse
- Coercive Control
- FGM/HBA
